Outstanding and beautiful glassy partly transparent to translucent deep amber colored tabular barite crystals forming an aesthetic 6.0 x 5.0 x 2.2 cm cluster without matrix. Shows nicely all around 360 degrees. Very slight rubbing is present on one crystal edge at left; overall I think that this is in excellent condition damage-wise. Very neat combination specimen with a large colorless transparent tabular barite crystal measuring 6.0 x 4.6 x 1.7 cm in size size perched up aesthetically on a matrix of crystallized quartz. The barite crystal shows neat phantom crystals. Some damage to the quartz is present on the exterior of the piece; the barite is perfect all around. Size: 7.8 x 7.4 x 5.0 cm. A gorgeous glassy lustrous gem quality bluish-green double termined aquamarine crystal measuring 6.0 x 2.5 x 1.6 cm in size. Complete all around - no damage or chipping. From the finds in the 1980's, rich purple amethystine gemmy lustrous crystals of creedite to 1.7 cm in size are coming off a 5.0 x 3.9 x 3.5 cm matrix. An excellent single terminated loose damage-free elbaite crystal measuring 8.6 x 1.0 x 0.9 cm in size overall. Complete all around. Large glassy gem quality transparent cubic fluorite crystals to 3.8 cm on edge are set nicely upon matrix. A sparkling lustrous white grouping of barite crystals measuring 3.0 x 2.5 x 1.7 cm in size is perched aesthetically on one side of the fluorite crystals. An excellent fluorite specimen for this noted locality, the specimen consisting of a 6.0 x 4.7 x 3.2 cm matrix, the top scattered with small crystals of quartz and pyrite. Over these are lustrous gemmy color zoned crystals of fluorite to 1.2 cm on edge. The fluorite crytals are almost colorless on the edges, but with purple phantom crystals the overall appearance is that of purple fluorite crystals. I can find one minor crystal with a cleaved corner; overall I feel that this is in excellent condition damage-wise. Sits perfectly for display by itself. Ex Lloyd Tate collection.
